SQLParity

SQL scratchpad

Query a CSV, Parquet or JSON file with real SQL. DuckDB runs inside this tab, so the file is never uploaded.

Your data

Files are read straight off your disk by the engine in this tab. They are not copied anywhere, and closing the page discards everything.

Result

Run a query and the rows appear here.

What this is, and what it is not

This is DuckDB, not your warehouse. Its SQL is close to PostgreSQL, so Athena, T-SQL and Oracle specifics will not run here — use it to check that logic is right against sample rows, then take the query to the engine it belongs to.

Nothing is uploaded, and that is checkable rather than promised. The engine itself is served from this same origin, so even loading it makes no request to anyone else. Watch the network tab while you drop a file: it stays silent.

Query Large CSV and TSV Files with SQL in Your Browser

Excel freezes on files larger than 100,000 rows, and importing a CSV into a local SQLite or PostgreSQL database requires database setup, table creation, and import scripts. SQLParity allows you to drag and drop a CSV file and immediately query it with standard SQL.

Automatic Schema Sniffing

DuckDB automatically detects column types (dates, integers, decimals, text) and delimiters without requiring you to manually write a DDL schema first.

Full SQL Power

Use window functions, CTEs (WITH clauses), GROUP BY aggregates, complex JOINs, and regex filters just like in a production analytical data warehouse.

Zero Uploads

Your CSV data stays entirely in your browser's memory. The browser refuses external network requests, preserving complete privacy.
